THE World Darts Championship starts at the end of the year with the top 32 players in the world earning seeding for the massive extravaganza at Alexandra Palace.
January saw Luke Humphries beat teenage sensation Luke Littler in an epic final watched by millions.

The 17-year-old star took the darts world by storm and has become a household name since the tournament.
He then earned himself a spot in Premier League Darts, which he went on to win in his debut season.
Players on the PDC Order of Merit are also battling to compete at other televised events, including the Betfred World Matchplay and BoyleSports World Grand Prix.
